Pleasure Beach is currently negotiating with two major casino operators that will bid a license for the resort.
Aside from the casino, a four star hotel is included in the plans.
Barry Stone, the deputy leader of the borough council said that the council is excited about the economic growth the casino would bring in along with the business attraction of the hotel.
According to Mr. Stone, Yarmouth Borough Council was requested by the panel to make additional submissions to ensure that Yarmouth will get the casino license.
